Brand Guidelines

How to show the Slipstream name and mark. Use these files and rules anywhere Slipstream appears, so it looks the same every time.

Guidelines

The name is Slipstream. One word, capital S. In full, Slipstream Advisors. Not "SlipStream", "Slip Stream", "slipstream", or "SLIPSTREAM".

Spacing

Leave clear space around the mark and the wordmark, at least half the width of the mark, so text and other elements don't crowd it.

Contrast

Use the Slate version on both light (Paper White) and dark (Forest) backgrounds. Forest is for single-color print only. Button text on Slate is pure white #FEFDFC (5.37:1); Paper White also passes (5.28:1).

Partners

Next to a partner's logo, keep the clear space, line the marks up, and put a thin vertical line between them.

Misuse

Use the files as they are.

DO NOT apply gradients
DO NOT add outlines or strokes
DO NOT stretch or distort the logo
DO NOT rotate the logo
DO NOT add drop shadows
DO NOT change the typeface
DO NOT modify the logomark
DO NOT rearrange components

Colors

Slate is the main color. Forest and Paper White do most of the work. Grays are tints between the two. Use gray sparingly, for hierarchy and lines. Next to a partner's brand, the palette should stay quiet.

Typography

Headings use Source Serif 4, Semibold at display sizes. Body text and interface use Geist Sans. Labels, numbers and data use Geist Mono. All three are free under the SIL Open Font License.

Slipstream graphics are halftone: images made from a dot screen, in our colors.

Rules

Round dots on a single 30° screen, with dot size carrying the light
Only Forest, Slate and Paper White, with soft grays
Shading comes only from the dots
Soft and slightly faded, with lifted shadows and gentle highlights
Sparse star dots in the background
Subjects sit to the right or bottom, so text stays on clear space
Motion is slow and loops seamlessly
